To help each of us to cope with the extraordinary situation that the COVID-19 virus has put us in, a group of Swiss psychologists, united through the Psysolidaires group, decided to put in place a free support system using chat or video-chat.
The service is available from 9 AM to noon and from 1:30 to 9 PM, 7 days a week. The times shown can be extended according to the availably of the team. The slot allocated for each visit is 40 minutes on average to allow for everyone to access the service. The time slot can obviously be extended according to the visitors’ needs.
An English-speaking team member is usually available during the opening hours. The fluent English speakers are : Clare, Sophie H, Victoria, Virginie, Noëllie, Isabel, Florine (written only), Anaïs (written only), and Aude (written only).
The fluent Italian speakers are : Aude (written only) and Viviana.
The fluent Spanish speakers are : Victoria, Virginie and Isabel.
The fluent Portuguese speaker is : Gloria.
If a fluent English, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian speaker isn’t available, we’ll advise you on when one is present or when to return to the site for support.
Be you affected closely or from afar, as a family or alone, we are available to listen and accompany you during this time where uncertainty is very present. The confinement situation can be difficult to handle, which is why keeping in contact, even virtually, can be a temporary solution for maintaining a social life which is necessary for everyone’s mental health and wellbeing.
